I love to go see Broadway shows. The Phantom of the Opera, The Lion King, and Miss Saigon, were 3 of my favorites.

I saw Chicago in Vienna. I didn't understand a thing as it was all in German.
I saw Miss Saigon in London baby!
I saw Showboat in Toronto.
I saw Phantom of the Opera in Toronto.

I saw Sunset Boulevard on Broadway! There's one...

I've never actually seen a broadway musical or play anywhere though I certainly would like to. I was SOOO pissed I didn't go see Chicago when it cam here. Just had too much other stuff going on at the time.

I saw a couple others as well, but they must have been forgettable.

Steel Pier was one of them. Not so good. Off-Broadway.

I've been to a lot of operas too.

Oh man.. I could not sit through an opera. no way, just couldn't do it. I actually enjoy going to watch symphonies though.

I've seen some plays before, usually of the high school/college variety. Not much culture in Wichita Kansas I'm afraid.
I would love to see a Broadway play at some point though. I think Sweeny Todd would be cool to see.

I never thought I could either until I went to see a few very good ones. I won't say I enjoyed every opera I have seen. It's like going to a movie, and you either like it or you don't.

Opera de Montreal has supertitles above the stage, so no matter what language the opera is in, you can follow the story quite well.
