Mark, I saw The Fountain on cable a couple weeks ago. It's on the movie channels presently.
My review is that it was a strange film that was supposed to be about the fountain of youth, but it was confusing and dark. I'm someone who doesn't mind a deep movie that provokes imagination and thought, too. This movie tried to do that, but in my opinion it failed.
You can pass on this one, or find out for yourself.
I think my favorite Sci-Fi would be Buffy the Vampire Slayer, (if that's a sci-fi I'm not sure lol). That's probably kind of dorky but I loved the series.
