I dunno, I kinda think Mimi on the Drew Carey show is way sexier trashy than she could ever be in a demure sensible outfit. And have you ever seen Tim Curry look any better than he did in The Rocky Horror Picture show?
Trashy works best as a short term wild night out kind of thing in general, and not as a lifestyle (ie Ann Nicole Smith)

It seems that many of the entertainers today are looking and acting VERY trashy. It's unbelivable the way Britney turned from miss innocent to a slut in 1 year. Ugh!!

I think one paticular lady that dresses very sexy but never looks trashy would be Carmen Electra. I think she looks amazing!! No matter how slutty the outfit for some reason she still looks like she has class and is a lady. It may be the way she carries herself, I dunno. Many of you may disagree with me, but that is what I think LOL

I'm not a fan of the clown make-up and the "in your face" style of clothes. I prefer the more subtle, classy, sophisticated look.
Christina, Shakira, and Britney have gorgeous bodies, but some of their outfits just don't do anything for me. They make tons and tons of money and they dress like $20.00 street whores. Attention whores to the extreme. It's all part of their image and what gets them on magazine covers, but "trashy" outfits are more what they are known for vs. the talent they may or may not posess.
When I saw the image FB posted, the first thing that came to mind was how Dee Snyder used to dress in Twisted Sister. All that make-up and hair!

Actually I thought of that too. Almost Identical hairstyles. Could they be related?
It seems that some people just can't come up with their own look or style so they just recycle other crap and hope that somebody talks about how they looked. In this case it's an ugly hybrid of Moulin Rouge and Twisted Sister with none of the class of either one.
The outfit would probably look better with a less ridiculous job of facepainting but together they are Tammy Faye terrible.

Carmen Electra is a very attractive woman.
However, she is slutty! Why would anyone go on a national TV show and talk about fucking in the bathroom of a plane? She tries too hard to appear to be sexy and dangerous. She has no taste. Anyone who would have a relationship with Dennis Rodman is a slut. Madonna is whitetrash. No matter how much money she makes...no matter how many kids she has...no matter how many movies she makes...no matter how many celebrity friends she claims to have...she remains trash.
Dressing trashy and acting trashy are two different things. Trashy dressing is for the teenagers. Carmen and Madonna ACT trashy, and they should grow up and start acting like ladies.  |

Christina IS trashy - I dont think its a "look" - its really who she is. If you look at pics of her taken in normal settings .... she still looks naz-t.
Brittney is a show. Its all PR baybee. If you look at her pics in normal situations .... she looks ... normal. Jeans, no makeup, hair thrown back....
Madonna - well, im biased. I have always been a madonna fan. I think its all a show too tho. I mean, damn, you have to give someone credit who has lasted in the music industry for 20 years. She can portray pure innocence - or nasty trashiness without a hitch.

Why does CA look naz-t? because even in her down time she does not wear casual buy anywhere jeans and t's.
Not knocking this attire just wondering if a person is judged because they dont fit the norm or because they are willing to take risks. Is it not all subjective... Personally I like the new CA look.
