It's real simple. You start the surgery with 3 scissors, you end the surgery with scrubbing and sterilizing 3 scissors. I can understand how a fragment of gauze could easily been hidden, but a 6 inch pair of scissors? Don't they take a post-op x-ray?

That happens more than they tell us about on the news. People should really get a x-ray after surgery to make sure that dosn't happen to them. What methods do they use to take that out again? Cut them open again?
