Despite being in the final, Americans really don't know what's happening. They pay no mind to under 20 hockey, yet they follow college football like crazy.

They will hardly notice the Winter Olympics either. Not that the US will put much of a team out on the ice, but if they win (a la 1980), it will be something to talk about for decades.
