Leak in your bathroom, be very careful when repairing it, I finally got my apartment managers to fix my bathroom after 5 years of flooding my apartment and the hallway outside my suite, and they encounter loads of black mold, the toxic stuff.
here are some pics of the disaster my bathroom is in

They have sealed off my bathroom till the chemicals kill the mold, then they have to replace all the supports for the wall, all the 2x4's and 4x6's, the gyprock and insulation. Once they are done the bathroom, they are doing the outside hallway. Heres a link for some information on it.

I hope you don't have to pay for that!!!

What is the deal with this mold? Suddenly in the last two years, all I hear about is that this mold is toxic and dangerous. Wasn't it toxic and dangerous 20 years ago?

I've done carpentry work in bathrooms and if we came across mold, we just used killz/bleach, and scraped it off. Never hurt me, except for this third arm I have growing from my stomach

I think it's the Oh shit effect.
it might hurt 1 in 1,000,000,000 people, we'd better warn the ENTIRE WORLD IMMEDIATLEY of the effects!!!!

It is the mass media paranoia kicking in. Is it bad, yes, but is it enough to go nuts over? Doubtfull. Everyother week, there is a report of something else that is bad for us, radon, carbon monoxide, bricks, wood, wax, plastic, etc
