If he was terminal and in pain, all he would have to do is ask me and I would help him. I would want him to do the same for me. I also wouldn't want to be kept in a persistant vegetative state. That's no way to live and it's not fair to have your loved one suffer emotionally and continue to pay for medical treatment that does nothing to help the situation.
