He definitely had his moments as a comedian. His little kid voice where he'd wrap his head in a diaper and do the "OOPSY.. I think i did a POO-POOO" was pretty funny.
Speaking of goofy, Deal or no deal is a little bit corny that way, but the show definitely has a good hook. Everyone wants to see if someone is going to score that million, or if they're going to screw up and walk away with five bucks and a "thanks for playing" lol
