When I was in the Army, we drove a convoy with something loaded on the back of our semi (it was TOP SECRET, I don't know what was in it) all the way up to Calgary from here in Illinois. I spent my 21st birthday in Lecthbridge, south of Calgary, where the drinking age is 18 lol. Then we made it to Calgary, dropped off our load, and went on to Banff for the weekend on R&R (rest and relaxation) It was the most beautiful place I'd ever seen. Breathtaking views, incredible weather... I vowed to go back some day.
Just felt like sharing my first Canada story. seemed relevant being about Calgary
