One of my favourite re-makes of all time is:
Have a Cigar, by Pink Floyd.
The Foo Fighters did a very cool version of it a couple years ago.

Generally I HATE covers but my fave remake of all time is Joan Jett's version of I Love Rock And Roll . The original by the Arrows is good but the woman owns that song ever since. Interestingly, Britney Spear's version may be one of the worst versions ever.

For whatever reason, MC Hammer popped into my head. I've never listend to NKOTB directly, but my cousin was obsessed with them. I remember she hated Hammer because he did one of their songs or something crazy like that. |
