I only pray the owners stick it out to the end.
Maybe one day the idiot players will realize the fans and other non-union players have lost ALL respect for them. If for no other reason, than they see nothing wrong with taking food off of a non-union players table.
If those same non-union players became "Scabs", if ONLY to feed their families, the union players would be livid and certainly say, "We should all stick together. It's YOU we're fighting for."

There's also an article on TSN from last week where some players went to the UHL and the players there are pissed. They're working for $700/week and they can barely make ends meet, while the NHLers are coming in, taking the jobs away for "conditioning". I have no respect for the NHLPA.

Yep, I'm hearing also today that the NHL players want something worked out, and now. But they need to speak up to the media and not just amongst each other.
Their nest-eggs are starting to run out. Ahh pooo pooo for them.
They might actually have to work like the rest of us. |
