Yeah maybe I'm naive but I was pleased to see Liddy Dole get elected. Some of the other guys who won LOOKED like scumbags (even the Dems who lost did!) At least my scumbag won, I saw initial polls showing Bill Simon winning and I almost swallowed my tongue. Just what we need crooks in charge of the #1 and #5 economies in the world (that's California for those who don't know.)

I agree, politics has just become sickening at this point. But everyone was excited about all the women getting elected to governorships, since 4 out of the past 5 presidents have been governors. Plus they're all democrats, so it helps.
