Originally posted by Evil Chris Board promo is one thing if done properly, but joining another bbs to grab info on people who post just to refer them to another bbs (for the purposes of winning a contest) is outright LAME.
XNations rolls along on it's own now quite well, however when FB and I first opened it, we spent a lot of funds on advertising it. We didn't spam people we didn't know to get them to join.
