Something funny happened today.

G'day,
Has anyone seen a deleted domain still listed in good old Google?
I was searching for the html snow script, you know the one that looks like snow flakes falling on the page!
I'm wanting to build a couple ring tone mainstream sites in early 2006
and wanted to start it off with some winters layout.

Anyway the funny thing I found is that a domain still with pr2 and 3k indexed pages in google
and 5k something indexed on yahoo, didnt check any others.

How can this happen? I thought up until today that google is great with their system in controlling this.
Have you seen something like this before yourself?

Was it a good choice to register this domain without checking if it was used as a se scapper?
