Fuck I love England... 6 points... dominating the group. Although I don't want to see them play Germany OR Equador in the next round.

I love world cup. Not much of a soccer fan in general.. But World Cup is a whole new game.

Who's your team? And Who do you think will win it all?

I like watching the World Cup as well even though I'm not a rabid soccer fan. I guess I get caught up in the excitement of such an important global sports competition.

I'd have to say my favoured team is Deutschland. I lived in Germany for 4 years from 88 to 92 and in that time I learned an appreciation for the game. Soccer (fussball) is popular there like NFL football in the states.

Germany actually has a very good chance to go all the way this time around.

The last few world cups, the home team seems to win it. Not to mention they have more world cup titles than anyone (except brazil)

Very true... France won it at home in 1998, England in 1966, Germany in 1974 and Argentina in 1978. That's as many as I could find.

So the host country does have some kind of advantage it would seem.

Germany plays an important game on Tuesday against Equador.
