Such bullshit... I can't believe they could have been that careless digging up that street.

My loft was on the Burrard Inlet, lots of marine life is going to be damaged.

That would be horrible. I feel sorry for the marine life and wildlife. I'd worry if I lived there with the oil seeping into lawns and just the mess of cleaning oil off your house and anything that is outside.
